Summer Chicago Photo Shoot

We were overdue for family pictures, and we really wanted to get some Chicago-themed pictures.  Our friend Liz Hansen took the pictures for us, and she did an amazing job!

 

 

 This is Liz in action!  She seriously made the whole family picture process much easier than anything we have ever experienced!  She was silly and creative and perfect with the kids.

The Molly's cupcake bribe probably helped a little too... :)

Archer's Newborn Photo Shoot

We have been so extremely lucky to have good friends that are amazing photographers.  Our friend Sarah Severson (check our her website here: http://www.sarahseversonphotography.com/) came over about a week after Archer was born with loads of props and wrap and backdrops and put together some really stunning pictures for us.  Here are some of our favorites:

Morning, pajamas, and cowboys

Most days, there are piles of stuff accumulating in some (many) corners of the house, and I just can't quite get around to dealing with them.  

Most days, there is more to keep up with than is humanly possible for one woman to do.

Most days, I try to do it all anyway.

And some days (not enough of them), I get to sit on the floor in my pajamas, forgetting about the piles and to-do's, and just take pictures of my growing little cowboy.

 Isn't he just too much?

 And there's this other boy too . . .

 I happen to really like both of them.
