Henry's Baptism

I am so proud of this boy.  Henry was baptized November 30, 2013, at the Layton East Stake Center -- the same church where I was baptized 23 years ago.  Henry has always been such a kind, helpful boy who always wants to do the right thing.  We are so happy to see him take this step, officially joining the Lord's team.

It was a happy day for our whole family.  His little brothers were especially proud.  Ellis has carefully kept track of every baptism he has attended, and he's always talking about them.  He told me afterward that Henry's baptism was his favorite baptism he's ever been to.  When I asked him why, he said, "It was just so much specialer . . . probably because Henry is my brother."

One of the best parts about Henry's baptism was having it in Utah where we could be surrounded by so many people that love and support Henry.  We had both sets of grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  These pictures show just some of the people who joined us and then came to Grandma Lori's afterward for dinner.  What a special day!
