Outer Banks Trip

After a stressful week of moving and a crazy couple of months getting ready to move, a week at a beach house was exactly what the doctor ordered. We spent last week at the Outer Banks in North Carolina for the Iverson family reunion. It really was perfect! It included lots of naps, sleeping in, kayaking, biking, beach time, crabbing, board games, yummy food, and good company. Could it get any better than this? I submit that it cannot (unless you could arrange for Henry to not be afraid of the ocean and throw 20-minute tantrums every time he saw sand).

Watch the slideshow to get a better idea of the loveliness we enjoyed. Ah, summer!

It looks like you had a GREAT time in a perfect location! What a cool activity to have a treasure hunt. We're glad you got some well-deserved rest and relaxation.

I submit that it CAN get any better. Peanut butter and jelly in the same squeezable tube with croutons in the mix. PB&J without any cleanup. Does it get any better? I submit that it cannot!

Nice quoting Brian Regan.

What a fun trip! I should look that beach house up for out next family reunion! I know how you feel with the whole getting to know the new area. I have gotten lost so many times since we have been in Tucson and I am sure it is not near as confusing as where you are! I will be in the exact same spot as you. Trying to get settled in a new house and my baby almost being due. Stressful! Good luck to you!

You guys will do great! One room at a time is how to do it. I totally feel your pain!!! Boxes Boxes everywhere. We have been in this house a month and we still have those mysterious boxes full of 'stuff'. What's a gal to do really? Take it as easy as youcan and you will prevail!
Good luck!

Tanner is right. I also noticed that you didn't mention PB&J with croutons. I'm glad you enjoyed a nice vacation, though. You deserve it.

Fun, fun, fun. I would love to do a trip like this. BTW, your tummy is so cute! I'm having pregnancy belly lust being around my pregnant sister this week. =) Although you might be getting to the point where it doesn't seem so fun anymore...

The only thing better, is Kara in that pirate costume. You Iversons know how to have fun! What a cute idea for the kids. I wish the group shot of everyone had a picture of Andrea's "new" baby facing forward, I've never seen her yet.
