While we're on the subject of spending money, I should give Ben credit for insisting on the GPS purchase. It has saved my bacon at least 300 times already. I cannot imagine a place where we would need it more (Anyone ever heard of putting up street signs? They might be a little bit helpful at all of these 10-way intersections). So yes, that was probably the smartest $130 we ever spent. Definitely smarter than the $100 I get to spend on my first MA driving ticket. I feel I can safely blame the ticket on the GPS, since I never would have dared to drive into the Fenway Park area without it. Or should I blame New Jersey drivers for instilling bad habits in me (yellow light: speed up; red light: hurry!)? I think I saw a total of 3 people ever getting pulled over in our 2 years in New Jersey. Welcome to Massachusetts!

I absolutely love your new living room. I think it is very warm and it looks so comfy and inviting. I love the rug too. I have been looking for one for a long time because our house will have wood floors too and I love this one. I love the design and the coloring. Too bad you found it back east! I think it looks so great and you did an awesome job on it. By the way, I love the two chairs being different. I am getting sick of our matching furniture pieces and think they look great. I also agree on the GPS. I would die if I did not have one when I travel. They are awesome.
Too bad about the ticket . . . I feel your pain! I got my first a few months ago. Online traffic school is not too bad though. I surfed LOTS of blogs while I listened to the course. :)
Love the living room--although I, with Ben, will miss the lovely orange couches! On the pillows, the beauty of them is that Henry can rearrange them on a daily basis, so does it really matter what order they go in? I like both chairs, and think they work great. I would probably try to stain the end table and make it work.
Good luck!
Somehow I was signed in as Mike, but that was really me commenting on the pillows!

Jenn,
Your living room looks lovely! And kudos for the fast unpack . . . I can't believe you only have three boxes left. We too are preparing to purchase a GPS to help me navigate those Eastern roads. On the subject of NJ driving tickets, I know that they like to give them to teenage boys. Nat got approximately 5 during the year that he had his license in NJ.
