Henry's Courage

Here's a new song composed by Henry.

My favorite parts:
  • The fact that the Lord "commanded Henry to go and get a plane."  I guess you never know what the Lord is going to command next!
  • Use of the adjective "wicked" to describe Ellis.
  • Henry's sweet and bold obedience.  I love this kid.

How does he think so quickly in the middle of a command performance? He's not only "courageous," but incredibly creative! He's got "Jenn genes" galore and a singing voice from both parents. Talent drips from that boy! We love him.

He is the brightest, cutest little boy I've ever seen! I remember doing that with songs but I was a LOT older than he is- like 8 or 9 years older. Too bad you guys don't live closer- Leah and Henry would be such good pals.

That is a funny funny song, but I have been slightly concerned: What did Henry have to do to Ellis in order to get that plane?

I was singing a similar version of this song to Autumn last night about being commanded to go and get some Oreos. Luckily, a the way was opened for me and I courageously drove us to the grocery store and got some. Yum! They are blue cream, because they are the summer promotional ones. They are going to make weird shake colors, but who cares?
Nice job Henry! That song really made me laugh.

So cute! That takes some serious creativity and pure genius to change the song like that! I LOVE it!

This is my favorite of Henry's songs thus far. The line "Mommy and Daddy were both afraid to try" cracks me up!

I had tears, literally a belly ache laugh. What a crack!
