Henry's Suggestions for Baby Name

(Jenn) Henry is being very careful to take care of the babies in both of our bellies. Here he is checking on his baby with a meat thermometer, just in case. For my baby, he is helping by coming up with ideas for the name! He came up with these all on his own, with no help from either of us. What do you think of the following names?

Henry
Baby Zion
Baby Seth
Baby Jesus
Nina
Baby Daddy
Baby Mommy
Baby Jenny
Baby Car
Baby Dumptruck
Chintz
Jung
Jack
Baby Ma/Mom
Zach
Jove
Scope
Cheeks
Gaks
Nephi
Lamoni
Girls' Camp
Trunk
Tron-Junk
Trashcan (pronounced like Treshawn)

Henry offered all of those names as options at first, but in recent weeks he has pretty much settled on Nina. I have NO IDEA where he got that name from, since he has never met anyone named Nina! For that reason, I'm pretty sure he's inspired. :) Nina is Henry's choice for the name whether it's a girl or a boy. But to keep things simple (and avoid calling our baby "It"), we're now referring to the baby as "her/she" and "Nina." It's just so much easier when the child has a name! FYI: Henry's prenatal name was Lou.

I would go with Chintz. Sounds like something James would pick. He has three imaginary friends named Gugi, Conco, and Chooso. Congrats by the way!!

I can't believe how old Henry looks. It's so fun to watch them figure things out. One time the boys came with me to a doctor visit and I told them they could hear the baby's heartbeat, well when she put the thing on my belly and found a heartbeat, Declan said, "That's not a baby, it's a monster!"

The names were as follows:

Nephi
Lamoni
Girls' Camp
Trunk
Tron Junk
Trashcan (pronounced like Treshawn)

I love Scope. It's possibly the best name he has come up with. Except Baby Jesus.

Nina!! It must be a girl, I believe kids are inspired. Gavin "knew" we were having a girl from day one, I was so nervous that it would be a boy and I would have to shatter Gavin's ideal. He always refered to my belly as baby sister or Daphne. She was almost a Daphne, but Lucy won out in the end. I'm thinkin' girl....

Henry cracks me up! I would love to see him in person. I love your posts about him. I can't believe how smart he is for 2. It must be a girl.

I'd go with Cheeks first, then Chintz. Hmm...those two sound good together. Maybe Cheeks-Chintz. See what Henry thinks.

So I love all the names. Carter was up a few nights ago and wouldn't sleep. His concern you ask? Mom, what are we going to name the baby when it comes out? Our baby right now is sometimes called Buddy Claus. Never ask a child to name the baby right after they have watched the Santa Claus 3! :) Henry is adorable with his exictement for the pregnancy.
