2.17 seconds
the amount of time it takes for a brand new box of Life cereal, turned upside down, to become completely empty
15 1/2 minutes
the amount of time it takes to put 90% of the surviving cereal back in the box (um, 30-second rule), attempt to stop Henry from picking up more and more pieces and throwing them in the air like confetti, get the remaining bits and pieces out of the pages of my open recipe book, wipe crumbs off the table and chairs, sweep the floor, and put the box of cereal safely back in the cupboard to avoid a repeat performance

number of times I've stepped on those extra little sugar granules, even after sweeping
Just in case you've ever wondered what I do with my life all day long.

C'mon pictures are worth a thousand words. You are so funny Jenn. Anyone who ever wonders what "we" as mom's do all day, have never been moms.
I'm sure you did it with a smile on your face too! You are so patient.
Ahhh, toddlers. So fun, and so utterly exhausting. :)
hahaha. he's so cute! it was so great to meet him in person! you have a person!
Too funny Jenn. I've had those days - though ours was a dumped out Cheerios box. Keep it up!
Very funny. I'm glad my kids haven't tried that one yet!
You keep up that attitude about messes like this one!! Too funny! Rice Chex seems to be the cereal of choice to dump here. :)
At our house it's usually me who does the spilling. I can't tell you how many times I have dropped baby food on the floor. Oh, the joys!
